My first blog!

A new beginning into an unknown world of writing

“The first draft of anything is shit”

– Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, a wonderful quote to get started towards a new journey. I’ve been writing since I was 15 and just like every child I too loved the way I wrote stories out of creative imagination, mostly derived from Hollywood movies.

At least I started from somewhere rather than sitting idle and just wasting time. I started to write in a small diary, it’s pages had a typical pungent smell yet rather welcoming, while it was flipped (just the thought itself brings me back to those days).

The stories I wrote inside it still remain as something dearly precious and I had an irresistible urge to keep it somewhere safe. As I grew older, the new technology came in handy, so writing became a lot easier.

I wrote on two online platforms – Writco & Pratilipi. These platforms offered me a wide range of opportunities to produce various works of mine which gave good appreciation as well. One of the platforms, helped me to offer my written work for a compiled anthology.

-Keep on writing under any odds-

As I was cruising through Google, I found this piece of inspiration in writing and it shook my heart a bit, so I kept this as an assurance to motivate me when I am down. Writing became a solace where I could convey my hidden feelings and emotions which greatly helped me in my darkest days.

Reading books and consistently making efforts to write a piece everyday helped me to better myself yet I find myself doubting me on several intervals of my day to day life. Did you have these similar circumstances?

Writers block intimidates me most of the time but a persistent push to pull through it mostly helped me to overcome that monster! (cheeky little brat it is, isn’t it?). It is high time to make something out of your passion therefore I will surely be writing a couple of blogs each day against any odds.

“These woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.”

Robert Frost, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Guess, I should wrap this up with the best verses of all time, to ponder upon each day and I expect a reaction out of you guys, furthermore most of your expertise will surely be helpful for me too. Your valuable guidance would massively help me to improve.

Thanks again for reading up until here…

Adios! Have a gracious day!
